What if I don't know what my equipment needs?

We inspect every piece of incoming and outgoing equipment to make sure we address all issues. Bring in your gear and we will tell you what the best route to take is.

How often should I get a tune-up?

We recommend a tune-up before your first day on the snow each season and whenever there is major base or edge damage. About every 6-8 days on the slopes you should at least get a wax. Also, at the end of the season to put storage wax on your skis/board.

What's the difference between a full tune and quick tune?

The main difference is that a full tune will address and fix any minor or major base damage, gouges, and scratches (that aren't a core shot) and make the ski or board look brand new. A quick tune will include a quick base grind that will get rid of minor scratches on the base.

Do I need an appointment?

No, feel free to stop by anytime to drop off your equipment for tuning

How fast can I get my equipment back?

At the busiest times, it can be up to a week. We are generally able to turnaround equipment sooner than that if needed. For a 24-hour turnaround, we require an extra rush charge. Always call to inquire and we will do our best to accomodate.

When do I need a ski binding function test?

We recommend having your ski bindings tested for proper release once a year or every 15-20 ski days, whichever comes first. You also need a test anytime you switch boots, skiers, or have any hardware issues with your binding system.

Can you fix equipment with major damage?

Most likely! This will always depend on how bad the damage is to your equipment. We are able to fix most core shots, broken edges, and sidewall issues. Please keep in mind that there is always a point where damaged equipment is beyond repair.

If I buy equipment with you, do I get a free tune-up?

If you buy a full package with us (skis, boots, and bindings) we will mount, test, and wax your skis for no extra charge. Any boards and bindings purchased with us come with a free mount and wax.

Do you do bulk discounts?

No. We make sure to put the same amount of time and effort into each individual tune

Do you repair bindings?

Yes! If anything on your ski or board binding breaks, it needs to be fixed immediately. For ski bindings, we can replace most brakes and toe/heel pieces. These parts may have to be ordered so we cannot guarantee a quick turnaround time. For board bindings we carry a large range of newer and older parts that can replace broken parts.

Do you repair BOA laces?

Yes! All BOA Laces come with a lifetime warranty and we only charge for labor costs on BOA repairs.
